Sony Xperia XZ3

The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a high-end phone, coming with an all-new OLED display for enhanced contrast levels and popping colour. It has one of the best smartphone cameras on the market with a 19-megapixel rear camera and 13-megapixel front-facing camera. It could be the perfect phone for you if you’re an avid photographer. It also allows you to take incredible 4K HDR videos which is another bonus if you enjoy filming on your phone.

If you’re looking for a high-performance phone with a top-end camera but don’t want to be entirely out of pocket, then the XZ3 could be ideal. Admittedly it isn’t the cheapest option available, but considering the impressive spec and its recent release, the XZ3 comes at a reasonable price.

Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium

The XZ2 Premium comes with some luxury features that make it one of the most premium smartphones on the market today. There are few other smartphones which can offer you the detail and clarity that this phone can with its 4K display. You’ll get a dual-camera system for taking high-quality photos plus Sony’s S-Force surround stereo speakers for an excellent multimedia experience.

Bear in mind that the Premium can be quite big and heavy for some people so it might be difficult to use with one hand. If you want real luxury then this is the phone for you, but if the 4K display isn’t a priority for you then you might be able better off with a cheaper alternative.

Sony Xperia XZ2

The X72 was released in 2018, so you benefit from a more affordable price now that a few phones have succeeded it. It still offers the 4K HDR video, Full HD display and a high-quality camera. The XZ2 is renowned for having one of the longest battery lives on the market.

Although the XZ3 does offer some design improvements on previous models, this might be a good compromise for you between keeping most of the premium features and having an affordable price.

Sony Xperia XA2

The XA2 may not have all the premium features of the XZ3 but it offers great value for money. You still get a 23-megapixel camera and a Full HD 5.2in display, all for £300, making it the best mid-range smartphone out there. It is a bit chunkier than some of Sony’s other phones but it provides great and powerful performance with reliable battery life.

It is perfectly designed for you if you are looking for a solid spec without spending more than you want to.

Sony Xperia 10

If watching videos on your phone is one of your main priorities then the Xperia 10 could be the one for you. It boasts a 21:9 aspect ratio screen so is perfect for enjoying a good film. Although the performance and battery life don’t quite match the Xperia 10 Plus, it is a much more convenient size and a cost-effective mid-range smartphone option.

It is the best choice for you if you want a reasonably priced smartphone with the latest software, but you aren’t too bothered about having the most premium features.
